Joshua Runyan, Editor-in-Chief

Joshua Runyan comes to the Jewish Times with more than 16 years of experience in journalism. Most recently, he was the editor-in-chief of Chabad.org News and has served as news editor at the Jewish Exponent in Philadelphia. Joshua was profiled in The New York Times in 2008 and has received numerous awards in journalism for hard news, reporting, feature writing and editing. Joshua was born in Philadelphia, and he and his wife and their eight children join the Baltimore community from Coral Springs, Florida. Joshua studied political science at the University of Pennsylvania and received rabbinical ordination from the Central Lubavitcher Yeshiva. He is also an accomplished pilot and flight instructor.
