Melissa is a multimedia content creator for online and broadcast platforms. She draws upon her background in writing, photography, video and audio to develop content for national and international audiences. She’s created content for PBS, WYPR, Laureate Education, Annenberg Foundation and McGraw-Hill publishing, and a host of other local and national publications.
She’s currently the Communications Director for the Associated’s Jewish Women’s Giving Foundation and serves on the Arts and Culture committee of the JCC.
There is no subject too grand, odd or obscure to capture her interest. She is happiest when collaborating, learning about new ideas and places and making compelling stories that entertain, educate and connect people.
She moved to Baltimore after 10 years in Portland, Ore., but was born and raised in Minnesota where her family resides. She still proudly wears her Midwestern accent and has become completely enamored with Baltimore and Baltimoreans.
