7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The soundscape of summer evenings includes the trills, chirps, and beeps of insects calling for mates. We’ll learn how they make their music and take a walk through the park to see how many we can identify by listening for them. Participants will help collect data for the “Cricket Crawl” citizen science project, then end the evening with s’mores at the campfire. This program meets at the Nature Center at Lake Roland 1000 Lakeside Drive Baltimore, MD 21210. Registration is required, please contact us via email at email@example.com.
