WHY:
The Red Devils, a Maryland-based non-profit organization supporting families living with breast cancer, will host its 15th annual Running with the Devils PJ5K race and family field day on Sunday, October 1 at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, Maryland. The Red Devils have set the goal of raising $100,000 from the race in efforts to ensure care for over 700 families affected by breast cancer.

Participants have the options to run or walk the 5K or 1 mile course through picturesque Oregon Ridge Park in their favorite and most comfortable pajamas. Walk-up registration and check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 5K race or 1 mile walk which will start at 8:30 a.m. The event will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including:

• Pancake breakfast with mimosa bar and breakfast beers!
• Family fun field games
• Over-sized Twister, corn hole, frisbee tic tac toe, volley ball, two obstacle courses
• Caretrade Pavilion with various retail pop-ups and basket raffle donating to the cause
• FREE Child ID Kits
• Dogs are welcome! Especially dressed in Red Devil gear!
• Awards for top race finishers and prizes for Team Spirit, Pajama Fashions and Outstanding Fundraising

About The Red Devils:
Honoring 15 years of caring for Maryland families living with breast cancer, local nonprofit, The Red Devils has invested more than $3.5 million to fund treatment support for over 7,500 families and have developed partnerships with 31 hospitals and facilities throughout Maryland. The organization funds support in three program areas that align with the most common barriers associated with breast cancer treatment, transportation, family support, and medical services and treatment-related therapies.
