Le Havre film screening with Washington Post film critic Ann Hornaday

Join us for a screening of this award winning film.  The French port city of Le Havre is HOME for this warm-hearted, hopeful tale of Idrissa, a young boy from Gabon eluding deportation, and Marcel, a self-described bohemian who organizes his community to shelter the youth .

Enjoy bagels and coffee, film notes by Washington Post film critic Ann Hornaday, and a lively discussion of the film and the experience of refugees in our local community.  (Film in French with English subtitles.) All proceeds benefit ERICA’s programs supporting Baltimore’s refugee and asylee communities.
