The New York Chamber Soloists perform Five original American Classics-“APPALACHIAN Spring”

To be followed by a “red-Carpet” Fundraiser, “The Great American Songbook”

 The 13-member virtuoso ensemble of strings, winds, piano, and harpsichord will perform an all-American program, highlighted by Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring”.

PROGRAM:    Berger: Quartet in C for flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon
Powell: Eight Miniatures for baroque ensemble:  Cello, Flute, Oboe, Viola, Violin, and Harpsichord
Piston: Divertimento for nine instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, two violins, viola, cello and double bass.
Carter: Sonata for flute, oboe, cello, and harpsichord
Copland: Appalachian Spring for flute, clarinet, bassoon, piano, and nine strings
