Chimes Gala- A Decade in a Night – Featuring the Sounds and Styles of the 1970’s

Highlights: Chimes Gala is one of the largest annual fundraising events in Baltimore. Chimes serves over 3,000 people with disabilities out of their headquarters on northern Parkway. The annual gala attracts over 500 people and honors the accomplishments of people with disabilities and an area business leader that has supported Chimes. James D. Witty, Regional President for Susquehanna Bank, is this year’s honoree. The funds raised from the gala go directly to help people with disabilities, including job training and placement. People served by Chimes clean M&T Bank stadium and Oriole Park after each home game. They also work at stores like TJ Maxx and WholeFoods.  For 66 years, Chimes has provided a wide array of residential, day and vocational services for a very vulnerable segment of the population.
