Author and Psychologist Emily Sandoz to Speak at The Center for Eating Disorders Community Event

The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt is pleased to present author and psychologist Emily Sandoz, Ph.D., author of Living with Your Body and Other Things You Hate, at The Center’s annual fall community outreach event on body image acceptance.

In her presentation, How to Let Go of Your Struggle with Body Image, Sandoz will share her unique approach to addressing struggles with body image through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She will provide truthful and powerful resources to help individuals find a purpose in life that is greater than what they may feel about their appearance and move toward body acceptance. After her talk, Sandoz will take questions from the audience and participate in a book signing and sale.

This is free to the public, but pre-registration is required to ensure a spot at the event. To register, please call (410) 938-3157 or email RSVP@sheppardpratt.org.
