An Interfaith Conversation about Israel

Please join us for an engaging, perhaps even controversial conversation about Israel, including reflection from several of the Christian/Islamic clergy who traveled along with Rabbi Goldstein to Israel last May with the Institute For Christian and Jewish Studies.
Just announced two of the clergy who will be participating:

The Reverend Doctor John Schmidt has been Senior Pastor at Central Presbyterian Church in Towson for the past decade. Before serving as a pastor in churches here and in Louisiana, he and his wife, Debbie, were missionaries to Japan for 10 years.  They love Baltimore, and are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren!

Bishop Wolfgang D. Herz-Lane is Bishop of the Delaware-Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Bishop was born in Germany, with a fascinating and varied path, both educationally and professionally, to his current calling.  Bishop Wolfgang is married to the Rev. Margaret E. Herz-Lane who  now serves as pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Harford Road, Baltimore. With their son, Josef, the Herz-Lanes live in Baltimore City. Their oldest son, Kyle, lives in Allentown, Pa., with his wife, Ashley, and their three-year-old son, Carter.
