FILL THE VOID tells the story of an Orthodox Hassidic family from Tel Aviv. Eighteen-year-old Shira is the youngest daughter of the family. She is about to be married off to a promising young man. On Purim, her sister, dies during child birth and everything changes the girls’ mother proposes a match between Shira and the widower. Will Shira still be able to marry her betrothed or will she have to marry her sister’s widower so that the grandchild can stay in the family?
