Booth – Taxin

On Sunday, May 19, Marla Helene Booth and Adam Douglas Taxin were married at Beth Tfiloh Congregation in Baltimore. Rabbi Eliezer Hirsch of Congregation Mekor Habracaha in Philadelphia officiated.

Marla is the daughter of Miriam Booth of Champaign, Ill. Adam is the son of Marion and Dr. Richard Taxin of Rose Valley, Pa.

Marla and Adam met as children but lost touch for many years before reconnecting.

The couple resides in Pikesville and are planning a honeymoon in Newfoundland.


Rebecca Hoffberg Phillips and Jason Laurence Phillips of Washington, D.C., are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Violet Phillips, on Nov. 19, 2012. Emma was born at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., and weighed 5 pounds, 10.6 ounces and measured 19.5 inches.
