Katie Cohen and Meir Tusk are thrilled to announce their engagement. Katie is the daughter of Marty and Regina Cohen of Baltimore. Meir is the son of Sima and Tzvi Tusk of Baltimore. Katie and Meir are the adoring parents of Jasmine and Juliette Spivack and Matan and Yigal Tusk.

Katie received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Columbia University and is the coordinator for occupational therapy, physical therapy, audiology and low-incidence disabilities services for Baltimore City Public Schools. Meir is an electrician for University of Maryland, Baltimore.

A fall 2014 wedding is planned.

Shane’s middle name is in memory of his paternal great-great uncle. Cory graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He works as an assistant estimator for Manganaro Midatlantic in Beltsville.

Julie completed her undergraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. She works at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as a research audiologist.

Cory is the son of the late Joanne Cohn Oppenheimer, grandson of Paula and the late Morton Oppenheimer, Naomi B. Cohen and the late Jerome B. Cohen and the late Barbara and Irving F. Cohn of Baltimore.

Julie is the granddaughter of Ann Adler, Marian Cohen and the late Herbert Cohen of Pittsburgh.

The couple resides in Federal Hill in Baltimore. An October wedding is planned in Pittsburgh.

Gassman

Hadley Morgan is named in loving memory of her paternal great-grandfather, Morton S. Oppenheimer. Her Hebrew name, Hannah Yosefa, is in honor of Craig’s uncle, Edmund Gassman, and Laine’s grandfather, Jerome Cohen.

Proud grandparents are Maxine Cohen and Myron Oppenheimer of Stevenson and Ronde and Jeff Gassman of Norton, Mass.

Laine is the daughter of the late Joanne Cohn Oppenheimer, granddaughter of Paula and the late Morton Oppenheimer, Naomi B. Cohen and the late Jerome B. Cohen and the late Barbara and Irving F. Cohn of Baltimore.

Craig is the grandson of Charlotte and Manuel Gassman of Swampscott, Mass., and Sonia and Edgar Lewis of Boynton Beach, Fla.

Dubrov Foreman-Sagatov

Robyn is the daughter of Beanie Dubrov and Will Foreman and the granddaughter of Milton Dubrov. Ibrahim is the son of Virginia Friedman and Bogdan Sagatov and the grandson of Ward and Louise Welsh. The groom’s mother officiated. The attendants were Arin and Lisa Foreman, Shabana Knight and Alex Sagatov — all siblings of the bride and groom.

After a honeymoon in Italy, Robyn and Ibrahim live in Columbia.

Shirah

Megan is the granddaughter of Rayda and Earl Gerber and the late Sheila and Ted Goldsmith. Andy is the grandson of the late Alice and Maurice Madanick and the late Beatrice and Abner Harkavy.

Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in family studies from Towson University, a master’s degree in Jewish communal service from Baltimore Hebrew University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.

Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Jewish communal service from the Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University.

Megan serves as a teen program associate at Jewish Volunteer Connection, and Andy serves as the director of the Baltimore Educational Initiative for Teens of Reform Judaism.

A spring 2015 wedding is planned.

Wolf — Rubin
