Muriel and Arthur Shefrin celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6. They have two daughters and two grandsons and have lived in Baltimore County for 46 years after moving from New York.

Tommy’s attendants included Stefan Dabic, Raphael Foerster, Arin Foreman, Matty Duty and Chris Goggin. Sadie and Talia Hosid were flower girls, and Zander M. Sagatov served as ring bearer.

Lisa is the granddaughter of Milton and the late Sylvia Dubrov and the late William and Katherine Foreman. Tommy is the grandson of Renald and Yolande Tardif and Ebraham and the late Isabel Shekarchi. The wedding took place on the beach in Nags Head, N.C., on Sept. 27, 2015.

Lisa’s father, Will Foreman, officiated at the ceremony, which can be viewed at bit.ly/2djGA6m. The couple, who resides in Canton, honeymooned in the Bahamas.

Boling — Engel Engagement

Shelley and Todd Engel of Columbia, Md., are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Jayme Engel to Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Justin Boling of Jeffersonville, Ind. Jayme has a master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. A New Year’s Eve 2016 wedding is planned.

Ira and Patti Friedman happily announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Leigh, to Brian Hirshfeld, son of David and Sarah Hirshfeld.

Brooke is the granddaughter of Norma Friedman, the late Alvin Friedman and the late Samuel and Betty Finkelstein. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola University Maryland. Brooke is a public relations and marketing specialist at Alex Cooper Auctioneers.

Brian is the grandson of William and Loretta Hirshfeld and the late Ella and Mary Gold. He earned his bachelor’s degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland. Brian works at family-owned Holabird Sports in Baltimore.

A Nov. 19, 2016 wedding is planned in Miami Beach.

Rae and Sidney Bazensky just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 1, 1946 in Baltimore, where they have lived all their lives. Rabbi Axelman officiated the service. They have three children, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. They are members of the B’nai B’rith Morris I. Feld Lodge and are active members of Mose Montefiore Anshe Emunah Congregation. (Provided)
