To commemorate Passover, Krieger Schechter second-grade students imagined what it would have been like for the Israelites rushing to make their matzoh before beginning their journey out from Egypt. Manna House offers assistance and support to the homeless and needy in Baltimore, which include services that contribute toward their independence.
On March 12, Congregation B’nai Tzedek of Potomac, Md., held a party for its Baltimore congregants at the home of Mark and Robyn (Brown) Futrovky. Rabbi Stuart Weinblatt and approximately 25 Baltimore natives and their spouses participated. The Oriole Bird even made a surprise appearance to the delight of the guests.
