A beautiful art show just in time for the holidays!  Five local artists will

present their work in this lovely wooded setting.

Cynthia Brower’s dynamic prints include woodcuts, linoleum cuts, etchings and lithographs in gorgeous

Join our esteemed panel for a comprehensive four hour workshop that will help you understand how nutrition affects the whole being; how the body processes certain foods and supplements; what to look for and avoid in selecting food and supplements; and how you can change your animal companion’s health with some simple steps that you can do yourself.

Dr. Christina Chambreau, veterinarian and author, is an internationally renowned holistic veterinarian. She presents internationally on diet and nutrition, homeopathy, and other holistic practices.

 Kevyn Matthews is “The Dog Chef”, nationally renowned for designing custom meal plans for dogs, as well as special diets that treat a variety of ailments, including cancer, kidney failure, allergies, and skin conditions, among others. Kevyn has been featured on Animal Planet’s “Dogs 101″, Good Morning Connecticut, and CBS’s “The Mobile Couch”.

 Kendell Reichhart is a Holistic Health Counselor and Nutritional Consultant for people and animals. Kendell works to heal the body at the cellular level through proper nutrition and amazing foods and herbs.

 Kathleen Lester, M.S. is the founder of the Animal Reiki Alliance, a Reiki teacher, animal massage therapist.  She has been making food for her own companion animals for the past 8 years.

Catsino – A Night of Fun & Faux Gaming to Benefit Baltimore Humane Society

Join us for an evening of faux gambling to benefit the cats being sheltered at Baltimore Humane Society.  The action begins at 6 p.m.  Tickets are $100.  Expect fabulous food, a roll of the dice, an open bar, hearty appetizers, and the satisfaction of helping many of Baltimore’s homeless cats.  Itchy palms can play blackjack, roulette, craps, a money wheel and 50/50 raffle.  Prizes will be awarded to the most successful gamblers.  Call for tickets at 443-388-2407 or 410-833-8848 ext. 212.

Sisterhood Breakfast with Mr. Theodore (Ted) Venetoulis

On Sunday, November 17 at 10:00 AM we will have as our honored guest Mt. Theodore (Ted) Venetoulis.  Mr. Venetoulis has a long list of accomplishments. To name a few: former Baltimore County Executive 1974-1978 and was also a gubernatorial candidate, former anchor of the WBSL-TV and radio. Mr. Venetoulis is currently the president of the Mayor’s Selection Commission for Convention and Tourism, a Port Authority Commissioner as well as a visiting professor at Johns Hopkins University, Goucher College and UMBC.  Har Sinai members ant their guests are welcome.  Cost is $5.009 for Sisterhood members and $7.00 for guests.

Camp Fair at Har Sinai

Har Sinai Congregation will hold a camp fair Sunday, Nov. 17, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The fair will present displays of children’s summer camps with Jewish values. Camps include Capital Camps, Jewish Community Center camps, Union for Reform Judaism 6 Points, Camp Skylemar and Timber Tops.
