MAC’s Healthy Start Center Open House

MAC welcomes all to celebrate the recently opened Healthy Start Center and to learn about their highly successful Healthy Start Program. The event includes seated chair massages, one-on-ones with physicians who refer patients to the program, and stories from members who have experienced great success with the program.

Healthy Start, a 60-day program, provides beginner exercisers and those who have been away from exercise for some time a supervised exercise program with MAC fitness specialists, oversight from the staff nurse and full use of the entire facility during the program for just $60. MAC launched the program in 2006 as a physician prescribed program and after realizing what an important niche it provided, opened it to the public in 2009.

The new Healthy Start Center features state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a space for group exercise classes, and private space for physical therapy and for the fulltime nurse. Additionally, the program utilizes all of the club’s saltwater aquatic facilities including two therapy pools, a lap pool and a whirlpool.

This event is free and open to the public.
