The Grateful Zeb
ZDF Productions presents: “The Grateful Zeb Show” an evening of live music, karaoke, and raffles for prizes. The event will be held Metro Gallery on September 12, 2013 beginning at 6:30 pm.
The Grateful Zeb Show will benefit the ‘Hero of Hampden’ by raising funds to assist his long term medical and recovery expenses. These expenses stem from injuries he received while saving a friend from a carjacking in Baltimore City on August 14th. ZDF Productions has organized a series of events including live music, comedy, and more. All proceeds from the events will go directly to a fund in his name.
Metro Gallery has graciously donated its venue for this fundraiser, and the musical acts have all donated their performances to entertain and raise funds for the ‘Hero of Hampden.’ The evening’s artists include Aligning Minds, Blonde Armadillo, Shodekeh Talifero, and The Last Year.
Patrick Storck has volunteered his services for a ‘Donate-to-Sing’ Karaoke. In addition to entertainment, local businesses and friends have donated a variety of items valued up to $300 for raffle prizes.
Metro Gallery is located at 1700 North Charles Street in the Station North Arts & Entertainment District of Baltimore City.
Upcoming ZDF Production events include an evening at Magooby’s Joke House (9603 Deereco Rd. Timonium) on September 22nd featuring headliner Mike Storck, and an evening of music and comedy at The WindUp Space (12 West North Ave. Baltimore) on October 20th featuring live music by Puddle, DJ Landis Expandis, and a ‘Very Special Expert of Nothing,’ hosted by John Bennett and Patrick Storck.
All venues, performances, and services, including online ticket sale services, have been donated by the providers.

Now settled in Anne Arundel County, Mr. Mondle has been providing direction to the choir for over a year.

High Holy Day Services with Rabbi Greenspoon
Rabbi David Greenspoon is offering a new option for Jewish High Holy Day services at the Fellowship Hall, 109 Main Street in Reisterstown. These services are designed to appeal to people looking for a contemporary approach to traditional services, and are not connected to a synagogue. Services for Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year, begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Sept. 4th and continue at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement starts on Friday evening, Sept. 13th with Kol Nidre services at 7:10. Yom Kippur services resume Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. with Yizkor memorial prayers recited around 11:00.
“I am excited to have Sara Cohen from Kibbutz Ketura join me as Cantorial Soloist and to offer these intimate services for heart, soul, mind, and spirit. This season is spiritually awe-filled and awe-inspiring, but too often other things get in the way like politics and fundraising. I don’t have to do those other things. This is a great chance for people who don’t have a regular synagogue membership to connect to the High Holy Days in a warm, welcoming, and hopefully meaningful way.”
The Fellowship Hall is at Trinity Lutheran Church directly across the street from Franklin Middle School. Pastor Tim Feasor explains the reasoning for this wonderful interfaith accommodation and support. “We believe that we make God happy when we share God’s house. We welcome Rabbi Greenspoon along with our Jewish brothers and sisters and look forward to wishing everyone a joyous New Year.”
