Memorial Day: May 26, 2014, 10:00 a.m.
The annual Memorial Day ceremony at DulaneyValleyMemorialGardens salutes the men and women of the armed forces who have paid the highest price in defense of the United States of America. The patriotic ceremony which includes music, speeches, a wreath laying and 21-gun salute, will take place on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., in the Circle of the Immortals, DulaneyValleyMemorialGardens. The observance is free and open to the public. DulaneyValleyMemorialGardens is located at 200 East Padonia Road — one mile east of York Road, in Timonium, Maryland. Millennium Holds Free Concert
Millennium will be holding a free concert on Friday, May 30 at Metro Centre at Owings Mills beginning at 7 pm. The band, which features former American Idol finalist Travis Tucker, plays a variety of music that ranges from Adele to Nirvana and is appropriate for all ages. The concert will be located in the outdoor Plaza area of Metro Centre at Owings Mills, adjacent to the County Campus building which houses a branch of the Baltimore County Library and the Community College of Baltimore.
