Family Day: Lincoln Comes to Baltimore

In honor of Presidents’ Day Weekend, we will be celebrating on February 16th with a special Abraham Lincoln-themed family day. The day’s highlight features a 1:00 living history performance as actor Jim Getty brings our 16th president to life. JMM Program Manager Trillion Attwood will interview Lincoln to learn more about his views on Jewish participation during the Civil War. Honest Abe will stick around for the afternoon as he answers questions and poses for photos. Additionally, there will be plenty of fun activities for the whole family, including stovepipe hat making (even edible ones!) and stereoscope making (the original 3D glasses).

Call Trillion Attwood at 410-732-6400 ext.215 or email tattwood@jewishmuseummd.org for more information.

Cate Blanchett plays French art historian Rose Valland, a member of the Resistance, whose story inspired the 1964 John Frankenheimer movie classic, The Train, which starred Burt Lancaster.
