The Mother-Daughter Relationship

March 3, 2014
6:30 p.m. at Monteabaro Recital Hall, Horowitz Visual & Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College

From Naomi and Ruth to Joan and Melissa Rivers, the generalization is that the Jewish mother-daughter relationship is enmeshed and conflicted, yet deeply loving. How can we frame this dilemma and make better choices? Join Rabbi Shira Stutman and her psychologist brother, Dr. Zachariah Stutman, for a text study and discussion on mothers, daughters, the ties that bind–and the ones that need to be cut.
