There have been at least four rocks (usually pieces of concrete) thrown through car windows in the last three weeks in Northwest Baltimore, according to a report by Shomrim. The first three were parked cars with no owners present. The fourth had a driver injured. All of the incidents took place between approximately 9 and 10 p.m. within one block of Labyrinth and Gist Roads. It seems quite likely to be the act of repeat offenders.

A Baltimore City officer is patrolling on foot in the area, and Shomrim units are also planning to enhance their presence in the area.

Shomrim is advising drivers and local residents to be wary of all packs of youths.

Earlier this week, three local teenagers were held up on a porch at Gist and Glen Avenue by three youths brandishing a handgun at close range. The armed thieves made off with a wallet, phone and an iPod.
