The Downtown Baltimore Jewish Community Center aims to keep professional families with young children enjoying life downtown. At our new Parenting Center located in Federal Hill, we encourage you and your child to explore our playrooms that feature age-appropriate sensory and dramatic play experiences. We also offer parent-and-me classes, parent education, special programs, neighborhood networking, adult meeting space and more. Our programs are open to Jewish and non-Jewish families.

Hadassah of Greater Baltimore is a Big Chapter of Hadassah boasting a membership of over 4,300 strong, vibrant, and creative women representing all communities of the Greater Baltimore area. HADASSAH, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, was founded in 1912 by Henrietta Szold of Baltimore. Since its inception, Hadassah has remained unwavering in its devotion to perpetuating Jewish continuity, Zionism, and American ideals. As the largest volunteer organization and the largest women’s organization in America, Hadassah is committed to strengthening the unity of the Jewish people. Hadassah provides every Jewish woman with the opportunity to connect with Israel and the survival of the Jewish people.
