On Aug. 2, Stephen Needel of Baltimore at 79. He is survived by wife of 54 years Terry Needel (née Harris); children Bess (Jeffrey) Gilden, Yale Needel (Lorena Corona) and Chelsea (David) Stup; grandchildren Seth Harris Gilden, Shoshana Maya Gilden and Sloane Ryan Stup; and brother Aaron Jay (Beth) Needel. He was predeceased by parents Philip and Marian Needel.
