Menu Pleasers

Looking for new ideas for Shabbat dinner? How about a salmon trio featuring a teriyaki marinade, mustard dill marinade and sweet garlic marinade? Or maybe a grilled portabella mushroom and spinach salad as the side?

Perhaps you’re looking to make brunch. There’s a caramel French toast with a layered turtle cheesecake for dessert.

These are among 200 original recipes included in “The Bais Yaakov Cookbook” (The Fund for Jewish Education, 2011). Many are accompanied by mouth-watering four color photos.

The cookbook is also filled with information on Jewish cooking customs and laws, information on the art of place settings and centerpieces, and general tips on such topics as how to cook different species of fish and information about spices and herbs.

All proceeds from the sale of “The Bais Yaakov Cookbook” will go towards The Fund for Jewish Education, which gives to myriad charities in the United States and Israel.
Proceeds will favor Bais Yaakov schools.
