On Jan. 24, Phyllis Schaeffer (née Cooper) of Pikesville at 96. She is survived by children Rick (Josie) Schaeffer, Ellen-Jo “E.J.” Schaeffer (Rick) Braida, Beth Schaeffer (David) Swirnow; grandchildren Adam Landsman (Faye Rex-Landsman), Alex Landsman (Sandy Son-Landsman), Amy Landsman, Michael Swirnow, Jenn Swirnow; great-grandchildren Duke Rex Landsman and Ava Marlowe Landsman; and nephew Ira Robinson. She was predeceased by husband Dr. Aaron Schaeffer; sister Mildred (Henry) Robinson; and parents Maurice and Bessie Cooper.
