On April 23, Joan Caplan (née Kramer) of Baltimore at 90. She is survived by brother Paul (Janet) Kramer; brother-in-law Dr. Raymond (Edith) Caplan; and nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Donald Caplan; children Steven Caplan and Robin Caplan Norris; and parents Phillip and Lee Kramer. She was a proud business owner for many years of the successful travel tourism business Joan Caplan Travels, helping her clients to experience Broadway and other major city attractions for many years. She was an accomplished bridge player, achieving the impressive level of Silver Life Master. She was also a dedicated and longtime member of the Miriam Lodge as well as Beth Tfiloh Congregation.
