Community teens came together to fight hunger at BBYO Baltimore Council’s pre-screening of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” at Regal Hunt Valley, hosted in partnership with the JCC of Greater Baltimore, The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, Capital Camps, the Center for Jewish Education, the Jewish Volunteer Connection, the Mitchell David Teen Center, and NCSY Atlantic Seaboard. At the same time, teens in 30 cities across North America held similar programs.
Each individual who attended the Hunt Valley pre-screening brought two or more items of food to donate to Sarah’s Hope at Hannah More.
In total, the event produced 200 pounds of food to directly impact the Baltimore area.
