1 box plain graham crackers
1 cup raisins
1 egg white
1 box round toothpicks *
2-3 cups confectioner’s sugar
6-inch cardboard squares or paper plates
1 box mixed dried fruit, cut into tiny pieces
- Beat egg white until stiff but not dry. Gradually pour in sugar until a thick white paste results.
- Secure three graham crackers with the icing paste to form the walls of the sukkah. Place on cardboard to dry.
- Pierce dried fruit and raisins with toothpicks to make the roof on the sukkah. Secure toothpicks on top of the sukkah with icing paste. Allow paste to dry 1-2 hours.
Please note that children must be very careful when working with toothpicks. Three-inch carrot sticks or straws may be used in place of toothpicks. Fruits may be secured with icing paste.
