Make A Miniature Sukkah

Ingredients:
1 box plain graham crackers
1 cup raisins
1 egg white
1 box round toothpicks *
2-3 cups confectioner’s sugar
6-inch cardboard squares or paper plates
1 box mixed dried fruit, cut into tiny pieces

Directions:

  1. Beat egg white until stiff but not dry. Gradually pour in sugar until a thick white paste results.
  2. Secure three graham crackers with the icing paste to form the walls of the sukkah. Place on cardboard to dry.
  3. Pierce dried fruit and raisins with toothpicks to make the roof on the sukkah. Secure toothpicks on top of the sukkah with icing paste. Allow paste to dry 1-2 hours.

Please note that children must be very careful when working with toothpicks. Three-inch carrot sticks or straws may be used in place of toothpicks. Fruits may be secured with icing paste.
