Jewish comedian Sarah Silverman can sometimes be so filthy it is enough to make you cringe, but most of the time that does not make her any less hilarious. This fall, Silverman will have her first HBO special, “Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles,” which will be taped in May and presented in association with Funny or Die. This is not the first time Silverman has collaborated with the comedy website. For the 2008 election, she came out with a short video, “The Great Schlep,” urging young people to call or visit their grandparents in Florida and convince them to vote for President Barack Obama. The lack of censorship should work well with Silverman’s sense of humor.
