1 can pumpkin
1 can chick peas, drained and rinsed
3 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
1 clove garlic
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (more or less)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (or more to taste)
21/4 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Place the pumpkin and all remaining ingredients in a food processor and combine until smooth, scraping down sides occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate and serve with pita chips or crudites of your choice. Makes 2-plus cups.
