Baltimore County Councilwoman Vicki Almond was unanimously elected as the next president of the Women of MACo (Maryland Association of Counties) at the recently concluded MACo Summer Conference. She will lead the bipartisan statewide group of elected women for the next two years.
Almond represents the 2nd Council District, which includes Reisterstown, Pikesville, Owings Mills and Ruxton. In 2012, she became the second woman ever elected as chairwoman of the Baltimore County Council and the first woman to hold the
office in 28 years.
